Position Summary : Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Management Analyst Senior, supporting AFLCMC / LP, Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
Responsibilities : Duties include, but are not limited to :
Independently apply comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems and services acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.
02, 5000.74, and 5000.75.
- Perform duties for various project / program initiatives; investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, or evaluate solutions for project / program efforts.
- Provide expert-level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes, including financial management, information management, and contracting.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
- Support program managers in assessing projects within schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action.
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
- Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment to weapon system programs.
- Support and update acquisition reports and portfolio management records, including statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in managing an IT Program, including risk management, acquisition strategy planning, and post-award actions.
- Participate in various IPT actions, milestone and schedule planning, tracking, scheduling, and staff coordination.
- Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings / reviews, and IMS reviews.
- Work with program leadership in preparation and presentation of annual financial plans and quarterly execution reviews.
- Develop various briefings / schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and proficiency with MS-Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Project.
- Hold either PMI PMP and DAU APDP certifications.
