The Hospital Supervisor is accountable for the provision of quality nursing services and coordination of the inter-professional team in a hospital for a defined shift.

With a consistent focus on patient and family centered care and high reliability principles, the Supervisor promotes evidence-based practice within a context of constant change in patient volume and acuity, and available resources.

The Hospital Supervisor serves as the primary leader in ensuring effective and efficient patient flow in the Hospital.

S / he builds collaborative relationships with others Health System, and uses timely and effective verbal and written communication approaches.

S / he constructively leads through organizational change. The Supervisor demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates contemporary professional nursing standards and skills.

Required Qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Upon hire : Oregon Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities
