What You'll Do

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Park Industries, you'll be at the forefront of innovation and technical expertise. Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Leading Engineering Projects : Oversee all technical aspects of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop designs that exceed customer expectations and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Advanced Mechanical Design & Analysis : Lead the design and analysis of complex systems, including machine structures, gearboxes, rails, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics, to deliver groundbreaking engineering solutions.
  • Project and Resource Management : Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Mentorship & Leadership : Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring junior engineers, conducting thorough concept and design reviews, and encouraging input from all stakeholders.
  • Customer & Technical Support : Provide expert support to customer service, field installation, and sales teams, addressing and resolving customer issues with a high degree of professionalism and technical proficiency.

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Park Industries, you'll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote work flexibility with onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office.

Experience and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior technical role.
  • Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects, including budget and resource management.
  • Deep expertise in mechanical systems design and analysis, including familiarity with the latest CAD and simulation tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
