Job Title : Controller
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to join our growing team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for balancing books, job-costing, cash flow forecasting, planning accounts payable and receivables, and other financial tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a commercial construction background and a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage cash flow and forecasting, using accounting data to impact decision making at the company level
- Plan and manage accounts payable and receivables
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
- Identify and implement process improvements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- CPA preferred, but not required
- Experience with QBO and commercial job costing accounting software like Sage, Procore, etc
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with balancing books, cash flow forecasting, and accounts payable and receivables
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
