- Monitor shall monitor alarms and video cameras and dispatch personnel to any situation that may arise throughout the shift, including, but not limited to : Security units, Fire units, Facilities personnel
- Communications personnel, and any and all additional personnel as required to achieve a successful conclusion to a potentially disastrous or harmful situation
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
- U.S Citizenship status is required
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance as of day one of employment
- High School Diploma
- Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
- Must possess POST basic dispatcher certificate
- Fast typing with experience in data entry
- Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
Physical Requirements
- Meet minimum physical standards prescribed in the prevailing NASA / JPL Security Manual
