Staff Accountant

We are actively looking for a Staff Accountant to support an amazing organization in High Point, NC.

Essential Functions for theStaff Accountant :

Accounts Receivable :

• Handle deposits and allocate payments to customer accounts.
• Ensure daily accuracy and balancing of accounts receivable.

General Ledger / General Accounts :

• Support general ledger maintenance.
• Process monthly journal entries and reconcile ledger accounts.

Accounts Payable / Payroll :

• Manage intercompany billing and process payments.
• Verify and complete invoice payments, ensuring proper account allocation.
• Provide backup for accounts payable and payroll positions

Fixed Assets :

• Request and review fixed asset invoices monthly.
• Analyze expense versus capital items.

Preferred Requirements for theStaff Accountant :

• Possession of an Associate's degree in accounting or a cognate discipline is preferable.
• Minimum requisite experience of two years in a related capacity.
• Prior engagement with ERP / Payroll / Fixed Assets software is advantageous.
• Superlative oral and written communicationskills.
• Proficiencty inMicrosoft Office Suite or analogous applications, alongside adeptness in accounting software.
• Capability to operate autonomously and thrive in a dynamicteam setting.
• Exceptional organizational acumen coupled with an unwavering commitment to precision.
• Proficiency in upholding confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive data.
