We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace industry.
This position involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and outputs, by performing a variety of inspections and tests.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that our products meet all necessary standards and specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct first piece / first article inspections to verify conformance to specifications and standards.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and to identify any issues or defects that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Use a variety of inspection tools and equipment to measure and test products.
- Interpret and apply AS9102, GD&T and other relevant standards and regulations.
- Document inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into quality database.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with production team to address and resolve quality issues, improve processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and advice to other team members as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in first piece / first article inspection and in-process inspection.
- Solid understanding and experience with AS9102 and GD&T.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of various inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate quality issues and solutions to team members at all levels.
- A commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
