JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News is looking for a creative, highly motivated, proactive Editor / ENG Photographer to join our Washington, DC Bureau.
The Editor / Photographer is responsible for editing video and / or news packages each day before shooting live shots for our O&O stations.
The Editor / Photographer will turn raw video into news packages and create broadcast-quality pieces very quickly in a live environment with a sharp eye for detail.

Non-linear editing in a fast-paced environment
Work with Panasonic & Sony ENG cameras and file workflow operation
Audio for single camera set-ups
FTP, LiveU, BGAN operations
Safely drive company-owned and rental vehicles
Nonstandard work schedule, including overtime and weekends
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
5+ years experience in non-linear editing, Adobe Premier Pro, and as an ENG photographer
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have a passion for news and demonstrated knowledge of current events
Ability to be a creative, enthusiastic, solution-oriented, team player who is flexible with their work schedule
Demonstrated editorial judgment and broadcast experience
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work well with producers and reporters
Ability to take direction and then work independently
Strong lighting skills and experience with various lighting techniques
Flexibility and speed to work in a high-stress breaking news environment
Proficiency in mixing live remotes with IFB communications
Working knowledge of field audio mixers
Familiarity with streaming technologies, satellite news-gathering vehicles
Valid diver’s license, clean driving record, and passport
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including very early mornings, some evenings, and weekends
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects is preferred; Knowledge of Sapphire / Boris plug-ins is a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is : $32.
00-45.00 per hour for Washington, . This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
