We're currently looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join the team as a Service Sales Manage r. This role can be based at any of our Nixon locations.
In this role, you will be leading a Service Sales team toward growth and retention of generator preventative maintenance agreements, maintaining healthy margins, and increasing customer satisfaction.
You will continue to develop and maintain relationships with existing customers as well as expand our customer base. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are at the forefront of customer interactions, helping them discover the Nixon difference.
What you’ll be doing :
- Direct a team of Service Sales Representatives across multiple locations.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to accelerate the sale of Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMAs), remote monitoring systems, and aftermarket upgrades.
- Project annual sales growth objectives based on market research and data analysis.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust to strengthen results.
- Implement new sales tactics and procedures to increase sales.
- Build company reputation by improving customer satisfaction and overall experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Collaborate with internal team members to develop and audit corporate policies, plan strategies and goals to guide the sales operations team and financial performance.
- Contribute to the creation and the execution of annual business plan in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- May act as a project manager on large scale jobs to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Actively participate in Branch safety initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for :
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Sales role.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Previous experience in the generator or service industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to lead, persuade, motivate, and influence others.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
