We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Marketing Analyst in the Higher Education industry, based in New York, New York.

This role will involve working closely with various teams to identify and analyze trends in digital marketing channels, manage digital channel targets, and provide valuable insights to executives.

Responsibilities :

  • Attend weekly business reviews to identify week-over-week and month-to-month trends.
  • Work with digital teams to analyze trends in paid media, organic social, organic search, and email marketing.
  • Develop and manage dedicated channel dashboards and pull reports as needed.
  • Establish clear monthly goals for digital channels and align tactics to achieve these goals.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to guide KPIs and data input for weekly business reviews.
  • Identify reporting needs for new initiatives, including what will be measured and how success will be defined.
  • Analyze and optimize lead capture and booking rates.
  • Use CRM, Facebook Insights, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Looker, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel as part of the daily workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with executives at the VP level or above, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Understand the impact of actions taken each week and communicate this to channel leads.
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Looker, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget processes and campaign planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience conducting market research and competitor analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest trends in higher education marketing.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the higher education industry is desirable.
