We are currently seeking a Water / Wastewater Project Manager to join our Water / Wastewater Team in Coral Springs, FL.
YOUR IMPACT
CHA has developed thousands of water-related projects, each taking into account our clients' unique environmental, water quality, permitability, and funding concerns.
Our water and wastewater management offerings include full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
At CHA, the Water / Wastewater Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule.
This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise.
Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.
The Water / Wastewater Project Manager sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a "seller / doer" dual role, by understanding our client's challenges, building partnerships with them, and providing creative solutions to those challenges.
The Water / Wastewater Project Manager coordinates contracts with the client, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, and all other project related documents.
The professional in this role is responsible for all project financials, manages subcontractor payments, and communicates updates to the client, management, and project team during monthly project review meetings with operations.
Additionally, the Water / Wastewater Project Manager develops a specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA / QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years' experience required; minimum 3 years' project management experience required
- PE or equivalent professional license preferred
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships
- Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects
required
- Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
- Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required
- Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
- Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite required
- Knowledge of MS Project and / or Primavera P6 preferred
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
- Consulting industry experience highly preferred
- An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups required
- Must have good written communication skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills required
- Strong ability to work in a team environment required
- Ability to travel as needed required
