Data Entry Specialist
Job Description
The Data Entry Specialist is a Full-Time, None-Exempt position on 1st shift located at our new Madison, WI laboratory. Individuals located within a driving distance of Madison are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Data entry of client submissions for chemistry testing
- Utilizes knowledge of food and supplements to assist clients’ testing needs
- Facilitates information flow between laboratory and customer service staff
- Utilizes the Laboratory Information System (NIMS) for most daily duties
- This role is part of our production process and is the first step in producing high quality results for clients
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Some post-secondary education (an Associate’s degree or higher is preferable). Experience can be substituted for education.
- Working knowledge of computers, software applications and other technology.
- An attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and good communication skills are important.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Will be exposed to potential food allergens (ex. Milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc.).
- Overtime and weekend work as required.
