RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initialresponsibility will be for desktop support andadministration
- Local area network and fileserver support for a variety of public and private sectorclients
- Support multiple clients on a regularbasis
- Administer changes and adjustments tosystems as needed
- Recommend the purchase of newequipment
- Assess system performance andrecommend improvements
- Assist with developingimplementing and enforcing policies andprocedures
- Work with vendor representatives toidentify and correct causes of hardware and software malfunctionsand to perform enhancements
- Respond to andresolve difficult inquiries andcomplaints
- Provide emergency response to reducedowntime correct errors monitor vendor activity diagnose systemfailures and conduct offhours scheduled and as neededmaintenance
- Assist in developing planningimplementing and administering goals objectives policies andprocedures
