Highly reputable company that provides content, tools and expertise to help businesses, emergency services and individuals improve their safety and compliance is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Tech for a minimum of 12 weeks, with the potential for going permanent with the company, if it is the right fit on both sides!

Duties and Responsibilities for Level 1 IT Support Tech :
- Processing Basic (Level 1) Support Tickets
- Providing step by step technical instructions to end users
- Provide customer-facing technical support through phone, video and chat
- Identifying and troubleshooting minor technical issues
- Provide exceptional customer service and feedback reports
- Communication : Simplifying technical processes for non-technical end users
- Collaboration : Working with other IT professionals to find solutions
- Escalation : Referring customers to higher levels of IT support
- Customer-oriented : Being patient and dealing well with difficult customers, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
- Work to resolve customer requests quickly
- Complete Accurate Record changes and other Documentation
Skills and Qualifications for Level 1 IT Support Tech :
- Must Prioritize a Strong, Customer Service Mindset
- Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience in a front-facing role required 1+ year experience in an IT help desk role preferred but Not required If No Experience that is OK, however would need to be offset by a STRONG TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE BASE
- Average to above average typing skills (50-60 wpm)
- Intermediate knowledge of standard office equipment
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams Chat and video meeting platforms
- Ability to proficiently navigate web-based programs
- Strong Trouble Shooting Skills
- Someone who is a Straightforward and Supportive person by nature, would be an ideal fit within this somewhat small, Straightforward, Collaborative and very Supportive Team Environment.
- Someone who is trustworthy and possesses a high level of Integrity is a must!
