We are looking for a Staff Accountant who has a solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills to join the growing accounting team in our NYC office.

What you’ll do

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including, but not limited to, preparing and posting journal entries, account reconciliation and analysis
• Support the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
• Intercompany recharges and reconciliation
• Support audit requirements
• Support other compliance requirements
• Assist with special projects and workflow process improvements
• Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned

You should have

• BA / BS degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience with a focus on US GAAP and financial reporting
• Public experience, or experience working with external auditors, is a big plus
• Ability to independently identify issues and present solutions
• Proficiency in Excel is required
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details
• Highly motivated, professional, and hard working
• Salary range : $70,000 - 100,000 USD / YR
