Director, Sales Technology (Salesforce Business Owner)

The Salesforce Business Owner will play a key role in connecting the big picture with the finer details, all within a dynamic Agile environment.

They’ll be our go-to person for aligning features and functions with our company’s strategy, making sure everything works together smoothly.

By building strong relationships and understanding the full scope of their responsibilities, our Salesforce Business Owner will help us make smart decisions and achieve our goals together.

The business owner acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring Salesforce is effectively leveraged to drive business efficiency, improve customer relationships, and achieve organizational goals.

The role requires a blend of business acumen, technical proficiency in Salesforce, and strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across departments.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes :

• Provide leadership on prioritization of business value opportunities across the Enterprise.
• Create and articulate a roadmap for product timelines and delivery.
• Define and communicate expectations for product delivery.
• Make respected decisions as the sole Product Owner, not as a committee.
• Collaborate with the team to determine what, when, why, and how to release product features.
• Outcomes based value management with roadmap & prioritization of business units aligned to Vision and Business objectives.
• Accountability for forecast & values derived from roadmap initiatives.
• Demand intake with Steering committee and develops Business Backlog, set priorities in each release.

Basic Qualifications :

• Experience in a Salesforce DotCom (SFDC) Product Owner role within an Agile environment.
• Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing features.
• Experience with SFDC digital transformation and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with customers in a software environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Product roadmap and backlog management.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's Degree.
