The Sr. Manager, Strategic Accounts and Channels is responsible for delivering company revenue, SG&A and margin targets for the FIRE / EMS channel;
manages through account and field to deliver scale and value to the marketplace, while establishing verticals that refines our mission and assortment needed to close pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Primary responsibility is to align 5.11 people, processes, and accounts to Strategic channel deliverables ensuring frictionless transactions and a scalable operating model.
- Works fluently through account, creating alignment to channel strategy and revenue targets.
- Leverages functions, people, and process to close gaps in strategic initiatives; uses formal and informal network to deliver speed to intended results.
- Drives in market, internal and external sales organizations to ensure field relationships, problem solving, and accountability are owned by field sales.
Provides visibility to joint initiatives, performance, and opportunities to grow channel revenue and profitability.
- Continuous education of 5.11 Sales on channel development, sales opportunities, and trends
- Creates vertical alignment to channel mission; taking knowledge of end user and mapping the need(s) of the channel through 5.
11 functions; Product, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Operations
- Partnership with Sales Operations and Sales teams to validate pipeline data. Utilizes data to prioritize field strategy to close, while working cross functionally with partners to ensure delivery to end user customer.
- Develops and optimizes problem solving processes for end user issues in the field by utilizing Director of Sales and Territory Manager resources that are closest to the issue.
- Leverages 5.11’s functions / process to create internal efficiencies, delivering superior service levels that align to account processes related to procurement, inventory management, sales training, and forecasting (contract pipeline management).
- Deliver quarterly account reviews to Strategic Channel Executives and C-Suite leadership, fostering alignment and enthusiasm for our business at the account highest levels.
- Develops product launch plans for channel that ensures traction and new product success. Optimizes product assortment that supports joint initiatives, meets supply chain needs, and delivers to end user
- Collaborates with Demand and Supply Planning teams on forecast for assortment that drives sales velocity within channel, optimizing customer experience through procurement vehicles.
- Works with Professional Marketing Team to deliver, by Channel and Account, Marketing plans that ensure 5.11 is delivering content that is both brand appropriate and relevant to channel.
- Creates Strategic Channel Tradeshow Plan to include event calendar, creative consultation and after- action execution.
Attendance at Channel Specific and National Tradeshows as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 7+ years of post-education experience in Account Management
- Minimum Associate degree, or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Effective in virtual presentations, remote selling and training modules, as well as superior in person communication skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- In-depth product knowledge that can be tied to Top Tier missions.
- Experience with Dynamics CE, or other CRM system
- Have a proven track record of strong leadership and relationship building experience.
- Able to travel as business needs require. Minimum of 80-120 Nights

PAY RANGE : $100,000- $115,000 plus bonus
