The Senior HR &Payroll Associate position consistently provides advanced HR consultativesupport for complex HR and Payroll related processes through inquirymanagement, owning the employee experience from enquiry to resolution.

Itpossesses expert knowledge of country HR legislation and regulations and as askilled specialist, performs in resourceful and effective ways, often requiringin depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) which requires full understanding of theend-to-end HR processes and procedures to recommend when a deviation from theseprocedures might be necessary or the procedures need to be enhanced.

It also identifies andprovides feedback on service continuous improvement initiatives for drivingbetter outcomes, more efficiency and accountability that may impact largepopulations of employees or offer major improvements to the service deliverymodel and contribute to the effectiveness of the overall HR organization.

Thisposition is expected to contribute to and deliver business processes ordetailed technology solutions, in a self-managed and target oriented manner,and thus contributes to team results.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide advanced HR advisory support covering areas like HR policies andprocesses, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Leave, etc.
  • Serve as escalated point of contact for complex HR customer inquiriesvia various intake channels such as Employee Service Portal or phone
  • Provide excellent dedicated advisory support to specific HR customergroups including employees on manufacturing sites
  • Provide consistently excellent customer experience to our employees andmanagers and coach them through the use of Workday and other HR systems
  • Provide country specific expertise / knowledge / advice of the overallend-to-end HR offerings and more specifically on Payroll and Benefits, Time andLeave areas to resolve assignments requiring considerable independent judgmentand initiative, go independently outside of guidelines when an exception wouldbe applicable
  • Manage complex HR enquiries and facilitate the coordination,consultation and reassignment to the relevant, often senior stakeholders, suchas Center of Expertise, HR Partners and other HR Operations functional teams
  • Manage complex escalation and complaints, perform complex Route CauseAnalysis (RCA), evaluate possible course of conduct and make independentdecisions including deviating from established procedures, monitor remediations
  • Understand implications of Workday and other HR systems and processes,data and downstream implications and make recommendations / implement solutions
  • Assist with the introduction of internal company policies and providecountry specific expertise to global process owners and HR Partners.
  • Assess readiness of local processes and employees in case of newimplementations in the field of HR Operations and recommend actions for projectteams.
  • Identify and provide feedback on service continuous improvementinitiatives and service enhancements based on KPIs, customer feedback and bestpractice sharing to foster standardization, automation and simplification
  • Support standard, pre-built reporting and form processing as per agreedschedules and guidelines
  • Support document creation, archiving and validation processes and ensurethat these meet local requirements (e.g. collective agreement, labor laws) andgovernment legislation
  • Continuously improve and extend our knowledgebase based on feedback fromemployees and other functional teams
  • Provide supervision and coaching to other team member as required
  • Support and take part to special project and perform other duties asassigned

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields; PHR ispreferred
  • 2-5 years of HR (including Payroll, Time and Benefits) and contactcenter experience or related fields
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer-orientedmind-set
  • Ability to build strong, productive collaborative relationships
  • Adept at coaching people leaders and employees
  • Team player and adept at collaboration in a virtual, global environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up andresolution
  • Ability to secure and maintain confidential information
  • Continuous improvement mind-set and capable to identify opportunitiesfor automation, efficiency or employee training and advancement
  • Comfortable with heavy use of technology, knowledge of HR systems(ServiceNow and / or Workday is a plus)
  • Fluency in English required and French a plus

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 U.S. dollarsannually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-relatedknowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed.

The annual incentive target is (6%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineersoffers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off andholiday pay.
