Description
Shirley Parsons is working with a strong construction firm that specializes in Pharmaceutical and R&D facilities. This company is looking to build upon an already strong safety program and add an experienced and professional safety expert.
This position requires strong documentation skills including Job Safety Analyses.
The Role :
- Work with contractors to ensure all onsite employees are practicing safe work habits and keep track of trainings.
- Apply certain safety procedures and standards to match the project guidelines.
- Lead and conducts site safety audits and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate with other safety professionals to support contractors on safety matters.
- Ability to promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site.
The Candidate :
- At least 5 years of experience in a Safety role.
- Construction or manufacturing experience required.
- Highly motivated and team oriented mindset.
- Ability to problem solve and reinforce strong safety behaviors.
- EHS degree preferred.
- Strong communication and Microsoft office skills.
