Tesla Laboratories Inc. is seeking a highly skilled individual with an active TS / SCI clearance and CI Polygraph to join our team.
The Senior Software Programmer
- Qualifications are to include a thorough knowledge and background working with IBM Watson, IBM Enterprise Name Search, Java Fusion Charts, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle certifications.
- Implementing Natural Language Processing data mining using SpaCy, Flask, Gunicorn against structured and unstructured data to extract named entities (NED) for operations.
- Implementing geospatial (vector tiles and geocoding) solution using geonames, Geoserver, OpenLayers, Postgres, and Postgis to display vector maps (MVT) in a geofenced secure manner using Open Street Map data.
Looking at Postgres and Postgis with Crunchy Data’s pg tilerserv and pg featureserv using ST AsMVT.
- Implemented geocoder based on OpenStreet Map data and Nominatum to perform forward and reverse geocoding.
- Implemented Mapnik and Mod Tile module in Apache2 to perform as slippery map tile for latitude and longitude in WGS84 mercator.
- Migrating clients’ archives to S3 compliant data storage (Minio) for better security and future cloud migration capabilities.
- Looking at OpenCV computer vision (CV) with Tesseract to extract information from unstructured and scanned documents.
- Implemented geocoder based on OpenStreet Map data and Nominatum to perform forward and reverse geocoding.
- Managed the clients’ data center IT infrastructure including all hardware and software for current and future operations, development, and deployment in a cost-effective, independent, and creative manner.
Time spent switching between multiple concerns (hardware / software, infrastructure virtualization, networking, database, server, etc) and fires.
