Your Role as a Substance Abuse Counselor :

In this role, you will :

• Conduct BPS (Biopsychosocial) assessments during intake to support client evaluations.
• Facilitate education, family, and process groups that foster recovery and empowerment.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, including treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with internal teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive and seamless client care.
• Utilize person-centered treatment planning and Motivational Interviewing techniques to support clients on their recovery journey.

Work Location :

Experience : 3 years of counseling experience (Preferred).

Certifications :

• CADC or LADC (Preferred).
• MFTI or ACSW (Preferred).
• LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD (Preferred)

Skills : Candidates with experience in person-centered treatment planning and Motivational Interviewing techniques are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation details : 28-32 Hourly Wage
