Job Title : IT Enterprise Solution Architect
Location : Washington, Remote (occasional travel to the office every 3 months)

About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team on a contract basis. This role is remote, but it requires occasional travel to our Washington office once every three months.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in IT architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level IT solutions that align with business strategies and objectives.
- Utilize architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF to guide and document architecture standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, establish priorities, and drive technical solutions.
- Provide leadership in cloud architecture for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Use architectural modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect) to document and manage enterprise architecture.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in IT infrastructure, applications, and data management.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers on architecture best practices.
- Act as a technical liaison between various teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Architect or in a similar role.
- Expert-level understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and data management .
- 8+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- 6+ years of experience with architectural modeling tools (ArchiMate, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
- Proven leadership and project management skills .
- Deep understanding of security and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Relevant certifications in TOGAF, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), or security compliance.
- Experience with large-scale, cross-functional IT projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with occasional travel.
