Position Title : Ambulatory Nurse
Location : Manhattan, NY
Hours : M-F 9-5 business hours
Salary : $90,000-$105,000
Job Description :
- Provide oversight of the Licensed Practical Nursing and / or Medical Assistant staff including laboratory, primary care, specialty services, provider assignments and schedule.
- Provide health education and follow-up for patients regarding preventive or urgent care. Participate in collaborative initiatives to address health promotion and chronic care.
- Conduct internal collaborative work between the primary care practice and specialty clinics to ensure optimal utilization of services.
- Ensure quality standards set by the external regulatory agencies and internal standard operating protocol and procedures.
Requirements :
- NYS Licensed Registered Nurse with 1-3 years’ experience in a Primary Care Center or Ambulatory Center. Will consider comparable inpatient experience. BCLS certification.
- BS / MS Nursing (Associates Nursing Degree will be considered with experience).
- Proficient with use of Electronic Medical Records - Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Willing to train beyond basic skills.
- Bilingual English / Spanish required
