Job Description
Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team is at the forefront of engineering innovation, providing comprehensive services for large commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations.
Our expertise includes engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting, ensuring top-tier quality and world-class installations.
As a member of this team, you will contribute to diverse, high-impact projects, delivering engineering solutions that make a tangible difference in communities and industries.
Join our Facility Engineering and Design team as a Senior Federal Fire Protection Engineer and take on challenging and impactful projects in fire protection design.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience and expertise to solve complex engineering problems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
You will be integral to our team, working on federal projects and advanced facilities that demand innovative solutions and a deep understanding of fire protection principles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Innovative Design : Develop and implement cutting-edge fire protection systems for a wide range of environments, focusing on efficiency and safety.
- Compliance Mastery : Navigate and adhere to federal and local safety regulations, showcasing your proficiency in regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership : Lead collaborative efforts on major projects, sharing your specialized knowledge to achieve collective goals.
- Mentorship and Growth : Mentor junior engineers, fostering their development by imparting your expertise and experiences.
- Technological Advancement : Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire protection technology, applying new knowledge to enhance your work and the team's capabilities.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of any Olsson office, or fully remote.
Qualifications

You bring to the team :
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well with a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Licensed Fire Protection Engineer (FPE).
- Eight or more years of engineering experience in Fire Protection.
- Demonstrated experience in Federal projects.
- Experience in healthcare or data centers is a plus.
- Experience with REVIT is a plus.
