seeking a skilled and organized Maintenance Coordinator with experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to join our food manufacturing team.
The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of all production equipment.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a background in maintenance coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling : Develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance schedule using CMMS, ensuring timely completion of preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Experience with Food Manufacturing Audit, SQF compliance audit, etc.
- Work Order Management : Create, assign, and track work orders in CMMS, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities and resource allocation.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating with vendors for timely procurement.
- Equipment Management : Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance histories, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
- Team Coordination : Coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Compliance and Safety : Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, industry standards and food manufacturing audits.
- Reporting and Analysis : Generate and analyze maintenance reports from CMMS to identify trends, areas for improvement, and optimize maintenance processes.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance coordination role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- CMMS Proficiency : Strong experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, UpKeep, FixIt, Maintenance Connection) is required.
- Technical Skills : Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance best practices, and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
