Summary

Vincentian Home, a senior community in Pittsburgh’s North Hills, located conveniently along the bus line just off of McKnight Road, is in need of a Culinary Aide to join our caring team.

The Culinary Aide is responsible for preparing, delivering and serving food to those we serve.

Flexible schedules, casual, part-time, and full-time opportunities are available!

What You’ll Do at Vincentian

Working with our talented culinary team, you’ll promote and support a person-centered care environment that ensures the treatment of all with kindness, respect and dignity.

You’ll prepare, deliver and serve food within our facility in accordance with established procedures.

In adhering to all facility and departmental procedures, you’ll maintain a safe working environment, cleaning the food service areas and equipment while storing all food and other products in an appropriate manner.

You’ll also assist with meal preparation, serve food according to our menu, prepare the dining area prior to each meal, and attend in-service training sessions as assigned.

About You

Our Culinary Aide must meet the following requirements :

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written oral instructions and perform simple mathematical calculations required.
• Commercial or institutional food service experience preferred.
