Satellite User Terminal Point Person
Location : Bethesda, Maryland
Global broadband connectivity Using Global Satellites for users by delivering a combination of high capacity, security, resiliency and affordability with ultra-low latency and fiber-like speeds.
The Satellite User Terminal Program Manager will be r esponsible for working with outside vendors providing user satellite terminal solutions.
This position requires a strong Program Management experience with proven experience in the development of satellite user terminal technologies and installation of satellite user terminal products.
Main Responsibilities
- Satellite User Terminal Type Approvals.
- Manage vendor programs : scope : contract, work-breakdown, requirements, and budget.
- Manage User Terminal Programs including flat panel antennas.
- Work with the product, program, engineering and commercial teams.
- Vendor development.
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Emphasis in Satellite Communications.
- Previous SatCom, Satellite Phones and Vendor Integration a Plus.
- Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc.
- Knowledge of Modems, RF and Satellite Antenna technologies.
- Work with External Equipment Vendors a plus.
- PMP Certification is a plus
Supervision :
Manage suppliers / contractors during supplier facing activities.
Location :
- This position will be based out of Bethesda, Maryland.
- Full-time office or hybrid 60 / 40 office / remote, subject to work.
- Occasional travel, including international travel.
Compensation :
Base : $125K to 150K - Based on experience
