Summary : The Service Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of rotating equipment, including pumps, gear boxes, valves, blowers, and vacuum pumps. The services may be performed in our repair facility located in West Springfield, MA or may be completed in the field at a customer's facility. The Technician must maintain a safe a clean work area.

Completes initial inspection and required paperwork for all items to be repaired or serviced

Disassembles equipment while marking items and documenting current condition

Sand blasts and paints items as required

• Helps identify items needed for repair

Measure all required parts for inspection reports

Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make measurements
