Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Under the direction of a manager / director, the NP Supervisor plans, leads, and coordinates activities of a department as a direct people leader with responsibility for ensuring the productivity of the group.
As needed the Supervisor will perform direct patient care utilizing a high degree of knowledge, skill, and competence to diagnose, prescribe, and treat patients within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with a physician(s) to support clinical services.
Responsibilities May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and / or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals.
This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Manages the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
Coordinates with manager and other multidisciplinary leaders to promote professional practice models and ensure quality patient care.
Responsible for the productivity and actions of the staff, supporting the overall operational goals established by the department manager / director.
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to : onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed.
Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet / support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and / or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
