What is the Opportunity?
This role is part of Group Risk Management (GRM) U.S. Enterprise Risk, supporting the coordination of independent risk oversight of the RBC U.
S. strategic plan and execution of the Strategic Risk Management framework for the Combined US Operations (CUSO), RBC’s Intermediate Holding Company (RIHC) and branches within the U.S.
What will you do?
Design and implement reporting for CUSO Escalations / Risk Acceptance, Issue Management, ESG & Climate, and other enterprise programs.
As part of reporting design, collaborate with LoBs and with the Enterprise to refine list of obtainable data elements and attributes that can provide insights into the landscape of risk across CUSO
Develop periodic reporting to CUSO for senior management and the board on adherence to policy and standards
Maintain system of record for escalations where necessary
Analyze portfolio of risk drivers to uncover themes. Report on any identified themes
Assist with periodic reviews and requests for information from Internal Audit and various stakeholders across risk
What do you need to succeed?
Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Law or other related fields
5+ years previous experience work in a Risk Management role in a Financial Services organization.
Knowledge of one or more key risk discipline (e.g., Enterprise, Market, Counterparty, Credit, Liquidity and Operational Risk)
Experience with data analytics / reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Experience with Strategic Planning or Strategic Risk oversight
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders at different levels of an organization
Experience managing complex projects and initiatives
In-depth knowledge of MS Office

- The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 (NJ) depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status;
- market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions;
health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
