IT Manager

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to join our team. The IT Manager will be responsible for owning and maintaining our IT infrastructure, managing WordPress hosting environments, overseeing employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring efficient hardware provisioning and maintenance, and other IT related items.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience managing a small offshore team to perform these and other typical IT administrative tasks.

Essential Duties Infrastructure Management : Own and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and telephony systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

WordPress Hosting Management : Oversee and manage WordPress hosting environments, ensuring uptime, security and efficient operation.

Participate in website launching and archival when necessary. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding : Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring timely and efficient setup and removal of IT access and equipment.

Hardware Provisioning and Maintenance : Oversee the provisioning, deployment, and maintenance of hardware, including computers, servers, and other IT equipment.

Team Management : Lead and manage a small team of India-based IT professionals, providing guidance, support and performance evaluations.

IT Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees and clients, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Support is managed through a ticketing system, ZenDesk. Security : Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection protocols.

Vendor Management : Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of IT resources and services.

Documentation : Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of IT processes, systems and configurations. Required Skills Proficiency in managing WordPress hosting environments.

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management,IT security, and domain and DNS management. Experience with hardware provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Proven ability to lead and manage a small team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, with a focus on infrastructure and team management.

Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL) are a plus. High speed internet connection to facilitate a remote working environment Legally authorized to work in the United States Position Details Base Salary : Range of $70k-$80k based on years of experience Position Type : Full-time;

Exempt Schedule : Monday-Friday (no nights or weekends), business hours based on your time zone For example : 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm plus 0-60 minutes for a lunch break per employee preference and manager’s approval During training, you'll be required to match your manager's schedule of 8am-5pm MST after which you can adopt your preferred, approved schedule.

Work Locations : This position can be remote, hybrid or in-office depending on candidate preference and location. MyAdvice has offices in Melville, New York and Lehi, Utah.

Travel : May require occasional local or national travel (less than 5% of the time, if at all ). Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (90% at desk, 10% of time walking);

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and use typical office equipment (computers, keyboards, printer, etc.).
