Financial Analyst
Attention all Financial Analysts! We have an exciting opportunity to join our client which is a regional professional services firm located in Troy, Michigan.
This is a hybrid role but when working in office is a highly visible role with management exposure. We are currently seeking a compensation financial analyst to ensure the meticulous management and execution of various financial tasks.
Key responsibilities will include :
- Regularly updating and auditing the staff compensation master files
- Performing monthly balancing of staff-related accounts
- Preparing journal entries and conducting various financial transactions
- Calculating monthly, quarterly, and annual staff incentives and distributions
- Calculating annual profit sharing contributions for staff
- Preparing member departure reports and forming annual budgets for staff compensation
- Reviewing and summarizing letter agreements for staff
- Summarizing annual statistical information for staff performance reviews
- Calculating annual staff fringe benefit chargeback
- Preparing semi-annual staff interest computations on capital and notes payable payments with interest
- Compiling year-end compensation packages for each staff
- Assisting management and team leadership in ad hoc reporting and other projects as required.
Key requirements for the role :
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of related experience in professional services or public accounting setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical proficiency with business and accounting software applications
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to transfer technical knowledge
- Solid organizational skills
- Attention to detail
