As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will work with the Senior Leadership teams across the Group’s business units, with a focus on This Machine as our biggest business unit in the US.

This role presents a unique combination of commercial acumen and financial excellence, whereby you will help support the business with top-class commercial insight to improve performance whilst also delivering excellent quality financial reporting by working with colleagues in shared service functions and collaborating with peers in the UK.

As a Commercial Finance Manager at Agent3 Group, you will :

  • Support the Senior Leadership teams with insights on pricing, profitability, and overall business performance. This includes contributing to P&L budgeting and re-forecasting processes in collaboration with the CFO and local office leadership to ensure commercial soundness.
  • Guide Client Services teams in managing project budgets and improving efficiency, while addressing commercial challenges.

Ensuring precise month-end financial forecasting and reporting alongside these teams.

Oversee the preparation of month-end management accounts, guaranteeing the integrity and prompt submission of monthly results to both company partners and our parent company, Next 15.

Seamlessly manage the year-end process and serve as the principal liaison with external auditors. Additionally, take charge of all revenue recognition aspects under IFRS 15, including the monthly reconciliation of accrued and deferred revenue.

Ensure system and database accuracy across teams, particularly between the CRM and Maconomy. This includes overseeing the Maconomy database updates and maintaining the integrity of data within our ledger system.

Promoting process improvement and change management to align with evolving business needs.

  • Provide essential support to other Support Services (HR, IT, Office Management) for the smooth operation of the business.
  • Review and assist the accounts payable team in managing AP and AR processes, and assist with problem-solving as required.
  • Ensure the financial control environment is meticulously aligned with both current and future business needs. Take comprehensive responsibility for payroll accounting, encompassing the review and approval of payment runs and payroll taxes, such as PSA submissions, to maintain seamless financial operations

You will bring :

  • 4+ years experience in a financial reporting role with CMA qualification or equivalent
  • Advanced numerical investigative skills, capable of interpreting complex financial data.
  • Proficient in using main software tools, including Excel, Word, and preferably Maconomy, to manage and report financial information.
  • Experience presenting financial information, especially in an easy-to-understand manner for non-financial specialists
  • Experience implementing process improvements and adapting to change
  • The ability to solve challenges, with a willingness to approach them from new perspectives and propose innovative solutions.
