Assists the Purchasing Department Director by ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Purchasing Department's procurement and inventory automation systems.
Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing Department / County-wide procurement and inventory reports.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / related field; minimum of three (3) years of experience in data processing project management at a managerial or supervisory level.
Equivalencies : Unrelated Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of related experience; Associate's Degree and five (5) years of related experience;
graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification and seven (7) years of related experience.
- PREFERENCE FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN / WITH : Procurement and inventory; using an automated inventory program; using Advantage Financial Systems;
- minicomputer-based systems; hardware / software / business applications; web / report development; records management systems;
imaging / server applications (must specify on application) .
