Job Description :
Client is looking for consultant with a strong background in manufacturing operations and project management, specializing in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Responsibilities :
- Interface with external vendors / partners directly to track progress on manufacturing activities and report weekly status to NPI manufacturing leads
- Support the NPI team with tracking requests from external partners and ensure the required feedback is collected
- Track and summarize manufacturing yields & issues, for the NPI TPM to review
- Support the NPI team with logistics and shipments to / from external partners
- Support with putting in purchase requests for equipment / fixtures related to assembly and test
- Track and drive fixture / equipment readiness status / schedule with external vendors
Experience :
- years of experience in project management
- Experience in hardware operations / manufacturing or supply chain management
- Supported the NPI team on manufacturing operations activities
Skills :
- Manufacturing / hardware operation
- Project Management
Education :
BS or master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations or other relevant field
