This opportunity entails being responsible for providing environmental support from concept development through project completion including researching, gathering, and analyzing data, preparing project materials, and applying environmental law and policy to ensure compliance on behalf of the client.
What You’ll Do :
Analyzes the design plan and identifies deliverables.
Compiles and analyzes data associated with multi-disciplines and proposes technical solutions. Collects raw data, organizes, researches, and applies recognized tools of analysis to provide comprehensive review of the data.
Prepares graphics, technical reports, fee proposals, and responses to Request for Proposals for planning projects.
Assists in the creation and presentation of project presentation materials, concepts, graphics and reports to the client and community groups.
May attend project team meeting with some client interaction and project consultants. Responsible for documenting meeting minutes, correspondences, and other forms related to projects within scope.
Assists in directing small-scale planning projects and portions of larger projects from concept development through submission drawings.
Coordinates with sub-consultants and in-house personnel on a regular basis to complete assigned tasks. Some contact with clients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need :
Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience
What You’ll Bring :
Understands how to operate Microsoft Office Suite and client-specific programs with little guidance from more experienced staff.
Gains knowledge of environmental laws (, NEPA, CEPA, local, state, and federal) and ensures legal compliance when writing documents and working with the client, with guidance from more experienced staff.
Understands the scoping and budgeting process.
Prepares environmental review documents with guidance from more experienced staff.
What We Prefer :
- Master's Degree Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
