We are seeking an individual with Construction experience for a mid-size Commercial General Contractor that works in multiple states.

This position reports to the Director of Construction Finance and Administration. This is a very diverse position, and the ideal candidate will have experience in many different aspects of the construction industry.

NOTE : This position REQUIRES minimum 5-years’ experience with commercial construction and finance.

Applicants MUST reside in the EASTERN TIME ZONE .

Job Description :

This position will assist in the day-to-day construction finance and administrative activities (i.e. Contracts, AIA Billing, Accounts Receivable, Subcontractor Invoicing, waivers & payments as well as bank reconciliations, all in our Sage 300 (previously Timberline) system.

In other areas, you will assist with Human Resource duties, such as employment offers & new hire paperwork, etc. and be a contact with our IT Company to troubleshoot issues for employees, server access, etc.

Also, there will be Insurance interaction with GL / Umbrella & WC, with Quotes, Renewals and audits. This position will have training and guidance from the Director.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial General Contractor finance & administration
  • Must be in the Eastern Time Zone
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • An ability to find a way to get things done, if something is "new"
  • Sage 300 Construction
  • Strong Excel
  • Flexible in different environments, based on business

A background check and drug test will be required, as well as signing a confidentiality agreement.
