About the Position : Reporting to the Director of Administration and Strategy, the Manager of Learning Program Strategy is responsible for leading the strategic planning, design, development, and implementation of comprehensive learning programs across multiple verticals.

This role involves working closely with leadership, program managers, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with organizational goals, ensure effective execution, and drive continuous improvement.

The Manager will oversee the analysis of learning outcomes, manage risks, facilitate change management, and ensure that programs are delivered on time and within budget.

You Will :

  • Develop and implement the overall strategy for the organization’s learning programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify learning needs, set priorities and establish clear objectives and success metrics for new and existing learning programs;
  • Help in the creation of departmental roadmaps, outlining key milestones, deliverables and timelines for learning initiatives;
  • Ensure alignment of learning programs with broader organizational strategy and goals;
  • Oversee the design and development of innovative learning solutions that meet the diverse needs of the organization’s workforce;
  • Coordinate with operations, training teams and other stakeholders to pilot new learning products and develop scalable models;
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and approaches in learning to enhance program effectiveness and learner engagement;
  • Identify potential risks to the success of learning programs and develop strategies to mitigate these risks;
  • Oversee and facilitate change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and implementation of new learning initiatives;
  • Ensure that learning strategies remain responsive to changes in organizational needs and industry trends;
  • Collaborate with department heads to plan and manage the budget for program development, delivery and overall learning program strategy;
  • Oversee the allocation of resources to support the effective execution of learning strategies;
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning within the department;
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, subject matter experts and external partners;
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to stakeholders on best practices for learning program design, development and implementation;
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful integration of learning initiatives across the organization;
  • From time-to-time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.

You Will Need to Have :

  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategic planning or program management within a learning or development environment;
  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex learning programs that align with organizational goals;
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business-related project management and leading cross-functional or complex programs;
  • 3+ years of management experience, including responsibility for cross-functional teams. Expert knowledge of project planning and cross-functional team management;
  • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities;
  • Expert knowledge of project planning, cross-functional team management and strategic program development;
  • Proven ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary challenges;
  • Analytical skills with the ability to present data and insights to drive action, track operational effectiveness, and identify risks;
  • Comfortable and effective in leading teams through ambiguous situations;
  • Expertise in program design, instructional design, and learning technologies.

It Will Be Great if You Have :

  • Experience in building or expanding teams;
  • Proficiency with standard program and project management tools (e.g., Excel, Visio, Smartsheet, Trello);
  • Experience in non-profit or educational settings;
  • PMP or other relevant certifications in project or program management;
  • High energy and a passion for working in dynamic, fast-paced environments;
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in learning and development;
  • Experience with budgeting and resource allocation for learning initiatives.
