Core Functions :

• Carry a consistent caseload of clients seeking counseling and therapy services through the RMUCC
• Provide clinical supervision to students enrolled in practicum / Internship who see clients through the RMUCC.
• Actively engage in community outreach activities to promote the RMUCC at health fairs, conventions, and other mental health organizations.
• Adhere to all Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, clinic scheduling, and reporting under the Clinic Director.
• Assist the Director in managing all aspects of the clinic, including service delivery to all clients and students.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining documentation as appropriate and required for the clinic and external stakeholder reporting requirements, including grant funding and clinical contracts (e.

g., virtual academies).

• Provide administrative support for student recruitment and retention to the RMUCC, outcome assessments, certification activities, and clinician recruitment and retention activities
• Assist other RMU clinic staff as needed, including student clinicians, supervisors, and faculty
• General office duties include filing, copying, scanning, communication, etc.
• Assist with other University-related matters as needed

Background / Expertise :

• A Master’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Unencumbered state license to practice as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in the state of Utah
• Meet state requirements to provide clinical supervision
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) speaking is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of and adherence to FERPA and HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of best practices in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical documentation, licensing and professional development, telemental health counseling, and clinical supervision.
• Knowledge of office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, and scanners
• Prior relevant experience in a counseling / therapy clinical environment (virtual and in-person).
• Additional experience in academic or healthcare settings or familiarity with working in a higher education environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in organization, multi-tasking, and coordinating with multiple outside contractors
