About this role : We are seeking a multifaceted Vice President of Business Development our Swiss Army knife leader who thrives in dynamic environments and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

This role demands a balance between hands-on execution and strategic vision, focusing on building outbound sales initiatives while also understanding customer challenges and collaborating closely with engineering.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop Outbound Sales Motion : Design and implement a comprehensive outbound sales strategy targeting enterprise clients, utilizing creative approaches, including direct outreach and cold messaging.
  • Sales Process Optimization : Establish and refine the sales process to enhance lead generation, qualification, and conversion rates, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the sales team.
  • Close Business : Take demos, build relationships, and close deals.
  • Customer Insight Gathering : Actively engage with customers to identify pain points and areas for improvement, communicating these insights to the engineering team to enhance product offerings.
  • Growth Opportunity Identification : Analyze market trends and customer feedback to pinpoint new business opportunities, driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Performance Metrics : Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align messaging and ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and product development.
  • Team Leadership and Development : Mentor and grow the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and innovation.

About You

  • Experience : Proven track record in business development, particularly in tech or compliance sectors, with a strong understanding of outbound sales strategies and enterprise client acquisition.
