Purchasing Coordinator / Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an experienced administrator for inside sales and project support to join our growing team. In this position, the support person will work directly with all departments - working closely with team members to provide an exceptional, full-service engineering package to our customers.

This person will have excellent communication skills and will work well on multiple tasks / jobs paying particular attention to accuracy and detail.

Primary Responsibilities :

Work directly with President and team providing project support

Contact vendors to receive price quotation for bids

Track, coordinate, and check accuracy of quotes

Quote project management

Prepare and maintain project files

Order entry using QuickBooks and other software

Customer communication

General office support

Skills and attribute requirements :

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize to meet deadlines

Proficient in MS Office software and QuickBooks

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Accuracy and attention to detail is a must

Positive attitude and preparedness to learn technical terminology and products for the industries we work with

Skills that would set you Apart : QuickBooks, Experience in an engineering office, Purchasing experience
