Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Step-Down Unit

We’re seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in delivering exceptional care!

Location : Kettering Health

Employment Type : Full-Time (Days and Nights Available)

Salary Range : $32-$49 / hour based on experience

Sign-On Bonus : Up to $45,000 based on shift and experience

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our Cardiac Step-Down Unit, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiac health, recovery, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication regarding patient care.

Qualifications :

• Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure : Unencumbered Ohio State RN license or Compact License.
• Experience : One year of acute care RN experience required.
• Certification : BLS Certification is required. Any other certifications required you will have 6 months from date of hire to obtain.
• Attributes : Strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
