Patient population primarily consists of COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, Flu, Sepsis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Post Covid.
With the support of Respiratory Therapist, we care for trach, vents, bipaps and high-oxygen requirements.
We see insulin drips for both our DKA and DKA population as well as heparin Cardizem and sporadic other drips.
Trach / vents on unit no orally intubated patients.
