Position Summary
To enhance the delivery impact and customer experience, this individual will lead the charge to continue the design and enhancement of PGATSS training programs.
This position is ideal for someone with an instructional design, LMS admin, and virtual curriculum design background. This role requires a creative and timely, learner-centric problem-solver with strong project management skills that can operate effectively in an ever-evolving environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conducts research and partners with subject matter experts.
- Designs, develops, edits, reviews, and maintains instructional content via multiple modalities consistent with adult learning principles.
- Utilize instructional design models, such as ADDIE, to create and implement training programs.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze target audience to determine appropriate learning objectives and content.
- Create a variety of learning materials such as : e-Learning courses, micro-learning, demonstrations, simulations, videos, scenarios, case studies, exercises, workbooks, instructor and participant guides, PowerPoint decks, scripts, quick references, job aids, and knowledge checks.
- Creates storyboards for e-Learning material that include scripts, scenarios, visuals and interactive elements used to engage and enhance the learner experience.
- Develop e-Learning courses using Articulate Rise or Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and other similar tools - and develop videos using Vyond, Premier Pro, or Camtasia.
- Ensures that all educational materials adhere to design standards.
- Act as an administrator for PGATSS online learning management system.
- Help maximize National Promoter Score, customer satisfaction, and revenue recognition through meeting and exceeding individual and team goals.
- Stay current on and research emerging learning trends and their recommended use, including innovative best practices, capabilities and methodologies in the design and development of solution offerings.
Qualifications and Technical Skills Required :
- MA or BS degree in instructional design, education technology or similar discipline (preferred).
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience (e.g., instructional design, curriculum design, learning development).
- Prior administrator experience with a learning management system (required).
- Experience and proficiency working with learning / course management systems and media development tools (e.g. Blackboard, Captivate, Camtasia, Creative Cloud, Teachable, Adobe, Vyond, etc.) (required).
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and projects to successful completion.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce high quality outputs.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability relative to thriving in ambiguous, constantly changing, high-pressure environments.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively write clear and concise instructional text and audio / video scripts.
