Job Summary :
The Event Promotions Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of promotional activities for events.
This role involves assisting in marketing campaigns, engaging with partners and sponsors, managing promotional materials, and supporting event logistics.
The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of promotional strategies for events.
- Coordinate with marketing and social media teams to create promotional content and materials.
- Distribute promotional materials (flyers, brochures, online content) through various channels.
- Help maintain relationships with sponsors, vendors, and media outlets.
- Monitor and engage with event participants on social media platforms before, during, and after events.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of promotional activities and campaigns.
- Assist in post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
