Their dedicated professional teams are looking for a new talented Fire Suppression Technician with a passion for fire protection and safety.
What you will be doing :
As the new Fire Suppression Technician , you will report directly to the Service Manager. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service with tasks related to the installation, modification, inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems.
Practically speaking, you will :
- Install, test, and maintain a variety of fire suppression systems , including sprinkler systems, clean agent systems, foam systems, and more, according to design specifications and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components, to ensure optimal performance of fire suppression systems
- Ensure proper positioning of suppression nozzles, piping, and related components in commercial kitchen hoods
- Perform testing of suppression system components, including alarms, pressure gauges, and release mechanisms
- Maintain and service fire suppression systems on a scheduled basis, including cleaning, replacing components, and conducting necessary repair.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain the condition of their fire suppression systems, discussing necessary maintenance or repairs
- Providing emergency service to investigate and diagnose alarm and trouble conditions to determine cause and take corrective action in order to bring system back to a normal working condition
- Maintaining accurate and precise documentation of all work orders daily, including thorough and timely inspection reports with signature from customer submitted to inspection manager
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment with strict attention to all safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned
The details :
This is a fulltime permanent hourly paid position to work for 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will be based in Phoenix, Arizona, US area. This position offers competitive hourly pay range, including pay advancement opportunities for industry certifications and continuing education.

The client provides training, tools and equipment, including $150 annual boot allowance for employees required to wear safety boots in their jobs.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required to perform this role.

What you will bring :
- 2-5+ years related knowledge / experience installing and servicing voice, data, and security systems in a commercial and residential environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems or related field preferred
- NICET Leve II or above preferred
- Possess related licensing / certification or be able to become licensed / certified
- Must be comfortable working from a lift and ladders
- Working knowledge of computer networking, IP addresses etc.
- Ideally will already own basic low voltage tools to include punch downs, snips, wire.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record to operate company vehicle or use personal vehicle to work (vehicle allowance and gas card for use of personal vehicle).
- Must display professional appearance and demeanor along with outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Must be a self-motivated worker with the demonstrated ability to contribute to team operations, performing all work in an efficient, organized and cost-effective manner
- Must be able to climb ladders, operate high lift equipment and carry and move work materials
