Resideo is seeking a Sr. Manager, Creative Services to lead and uphold the brand standard for the Product and Solutions business units (Resideo, First Alert, BRK, Honeywell Home Brands) across all mediums and channels.

The Sr. Manager will lead a team of graphic designers, production artists, and freelancers. This team is focused on supporting all marketing creative requests.

Lead a wide range of impactful projects including retail packaging for multiple brands, digital and traditional advertising campaigns, in-store creative, interactive design (corporate website, digital campaigns), social media and more, the role is a blend of high-level strategic direction and tactical execution.

Job Duties :

  • Provide guidance and leadership to a team of designers, production artists, freelancers, and outside agency services. Hire, train & develop.
  • Establish process and best practice standards for the creative team. Oversee all projects, provide feedback, and troubleshoot technical issues on all creative deliverables before releasing to ensure brand quality and consistency.
  • Create innovative key visuals and ideas for advertising campaigns, packaging collateral, brand partnerships, internal graphics, social media, retail, and various brand touch-points.
  • Assist in the direction, planning, and curation of various content creation, including : animations, photography, and video shoots.
  • Represent the creative team, conduct presentations and communications with cross-functional teams and outside vendors, including : executive leadership, trade, marketing, and other key stakeholders.

Communicate project briefs, team goals, creative strategies, and accomplishments.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute various marketing deliverables. Translate P&S marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Stay up to date on new technologies, industry trends, tools and marketing opportunities. Communicate these learnings to help train and develop creative team members.

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and provide art direction on all marketing collateral.
  • Manage incoming creative briefs in collaboration with Category Marketing Managers. Assign and coordinate task list and marketing deliverables among team members to ensure requests are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Establish and maintain a best-in class standard of output across all creative marketing deliverables.
  • Inspire a team to create work that aligns with the company’s strategies and goals; work with the team to implement a cohesive visual style and brand design language for all brand experiences.

You Must Have :

  • BFA in Art / Design or related field, or Associates Degree with equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience managing a creative team in a high paced creative agency or in-house creative department.
  • Skilled in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photography, and 3D software.
  • A visually compelling portfolio of inspiring creative for consumer-focused brands across multiple formats and channels.
  • A willingness to travel as required to domestic and international locations; estimated up to 15%.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
