Job Description : A Cashier at XTalk Prep Consultants is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
You will ensure a positive customer experience by providing courteous and prompt service. This role involves managing cash, credit, and debit card payments while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and resolving concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Accurately handle and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with stocking and organizing inventory when needed.
- Follow company procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Skills & Abilities :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of payment processing systems is a plus.
