Who We Are :
The Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies.
The team, as a whole, is very large but is broken down into many smaller agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Global team is responsible for tasks such as Sensor / Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.
The team is growing rapidly and we are looking for hardworking, dedicated people that will help us be successful.
This job requisition is for the JEMINI program and is open in order to fill a GLOBAL Network Engineer (E3) position.
What You Will Be Doing :
The network engineer will produce designs including system, logical, and connectivity drawings using DoDAF standards and present them to different engineering review boards.
Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, etc.
Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Desired skills
- Cisco Nexus / Catalyst switches, Juniper routers and switches, Fortinet firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with WANs, encryption devices, VxLAN, multicast, BGP, OSPF, and wireshark.
- Familiarity with SIPRNet, MDACNet, or other DOD networks.
- Certifications such as COMPTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA, and Cisco CCNA / CCNP.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle, related processes, and traditional systems engineering skills.
- Experience in reviewing work products produced by a team of engineers for quality, completeness, and adherence to established procedures and policies.
- Active TOP SECRET / SCI clearance preferred
- Travel may be required to support both local and remote sites.
- The candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, excellent customer interface skills, be a quick learner, and be able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast paced environment while maintaining a can-do attitude.
