Industrial Electrician, up to $30 / hr, Farmington Hills, MI

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintain industrial electrical systems by performing testing and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Understand and adhere to electrical codes
- Heat treat equipment installation, startup, and testing
- Operation of standard maintenance tools
- Document completed work and report to the job lead
Qualifications :
- General maintenance knowledge
- Basic understanding of shop safety and procedures
- Schedule flexibility
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Electrical print reading capabilities
- Preferred man lift experience
- Must have valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Travel : 25% of the year
In this position, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for building electrical panels by schematic, installing various types of conduit, and wiring controls, as well as troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems .
This position is going from 7am-3 : 30pm M-F, but that can change a little bit sometimes depending on service calls. This position is for a heat treating manufacturer and is a direct hire opportunity!
